The Truro Tidal Queens are proud to compete in this dynamic league, bringing top-tier basketball, elite skill development, and community mentorship to Colchester County. The MWBA provides a powerful platform that champions female athletes, coaches, and executives. Moncton Mystics

Welcome to the official team page of the Moncton Mystics! As a charter member of the Maritime Women’s Basketball Association (MWBA), the Mystics are dedicated to showcasing elite, highly competitive women’s basketball in the Greater Moncton region.

Spearheaded by General Manager Shannon Parlee and guided by Head Coach Troy Mackenzie, the Mystics are a cornerstone of the New Brunswick Division. Playing in front of their dedicated fans, our roster is a talented mix of U SPORTS and CCAA standouts, experienced professionals, and top local players ready to compete for the Legacy Cup.

The Mystics are built on a foundation of community empowerment and athletic excellence. Off the court, the organization is deeply involved in growing the local basketball scene and providing a supportive, professional-level environment for women to play, inspire, and elevate the game throughout the Maritimes.

Miramichi Her-icanes

Welcome to the official team page of the Miramichi Her-icanes, the reigning 2025 Legacy Cup Champions! Joining the Maritime Women’s Basketball Association (MWBA) as a highly successful expansion franchise in 2024, the Her-icanes bring elite, highly competitive women’s basketball to the Miramichi region.

Guided by Head Coach Neil Smith and General Manager Jim Watters, the Her-icanes captured their first championship in thrilling fashion, becoming the first New Brunswick-based team to win the league title. Playing in front of the best fans in the province at Miramichi Valley High School, our roster features a powerhouse blend of U SPORTS and CCAA standouts, former professional athletes, and top-tier local talent.

Off the court, the Her-icanes are supported by a passionate volunteer committee and a deeply committed community. From packed home games to grassroots mentorship, our mission is to empower the next generation of female athletes and continue building an unforgettable basketball tradition in Miramichi.

Lake City 56ers

Guided by Head Coach Patrick Havard and Co-General Managers Colter Simmonds and Marc Ffrench, Lake City brings a fast-paced, high-intensity brand of basketball to the Nova Scotia Division. Known for setting the pace in the MWBA and boasting dominant regular seasons, our roster features a highly competitive mix of U SPORTS and CCAA standouts, former professional athletes, and elite local talent from across the province.

Beyond the court, the 56ers are deeply rooted in the community. We are passionate about growing the popularity of women’s basketball in the Dartmouth area, providing a professional-level platform for female athletes, and inspiring the next generation of players to reach their full potential.
